HMUN Africa is committed to serving the future leaders of the world through tackling some of the world's most pressing issues to bring about informed action. We welcome and encourage all students to apply for this educational experience!

Eligibility

In order to be eligible to apply for HMUN Africa 2026, applicants must be 13 years of age or older and enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a high school during the time of the conference. In particular, college students are not eligible to apply for HMUN Africa 2026.

We understand that some high schools may culminate before the dates of the conference. You are eligible to apply to HMUN Africa 2026 as long as you will not be matriculated in a college during the time of the conference.

Once accepted, non-local students (ie, those traveling to Nairobi and staying at the conference hotel) must be accompanied by a faculty advisor. Teachers, university students, parents, administrators, and other adults 18 years of age or older are eligible to serve as faculty advisors.

General Registration Fee Deadline: January 20, 2026
